Welcome
to the Del Norte School's Instructional Media Center (IMC). The
possibilities are endless here at the IMC. We have three rooms available
for use including the large classroom space, conference room and
makerspace. To inquire about reserving any of these spaces please
contact the IMC Manager.
For Teachers
The
IMC is a treasure trove of lesson and project help items. From books
to scale models, puppets to videos, the IMC can help bring it all to
life for your class. We have video/audio recording equipment that can
be borrowed for classroom use. Numerous science kits are available
such as electro-magnetic, molecule building and scale models of the
human body, the human ear and many other models. At the IMC, there are
cooking kits (ie. bread, rice, pasta or soup). Local Indian tribes have
donated educational items and the IMC has local history items and
information for classroom use.
